Cruisin the Bahamas

we are back!! Jordan and I enjoyed a cruise to the Bahamas with his work this past week.... I will admit the first two days were not the funnest for me, It took me a couple of days to overcome the sea sickness, but on the third day I guess I just learned to rock with the waves. The dinners were incredible, buffets all day and all night, all you can eat ice cream all day and all night, but the funnest part for me was seeing how much Jordan enjoyed it!

when we retrieved our suit case from baggage claim it was torn so we found some tape and had make do.

we miniatured golf on the top deck, we also played some ping pong.

this is our designated spot where we always met up and ate and played games with dave and amy,and jason and brittany.

we were able to stop at two islands: Grand Turk and Nassau, we had originally planned on stopping at one other island, but weather did not permit us to do so.

Grand Turk was by far our favorite island. we rented some scooters and explored the island in style. We cruised all day on those bad boys and went off road and found some beautiful beaches. we stopped to talk to some people on the island, and they are some of the most friendly and humble people I have ever met. we looked at some of the shops on the beach and Jordan got me a beautiful dress and necklace for my birthday. Jordan, Jason, and Brittany tried some snorkeling, jord is the cutest he absolutely loves and enjoys snorkeling

grand turk had huge sea shells

the funnest scooters ever!

jordan finally tracked down a diet coke, what a relief!

beautiful beaches

The Island Nassau was quite a bit bigger, with crazy traffic! we again rented some scooters. We saw some more beautiful beaches, more snorkeling and made our way through the straw market. The people on the island are pretty creative and can make some pretty cool things. we grabbed a few souvenirs and had a great time. The scooters that we rented were so fun besides the fact that they broke down a few times. Yes, we got a little stranded on an island for a while but it all worked out in the end, and we had a great time and we will for sure always remember it

this guy painted us an amazing picture to bring home

on the road again.....

so we came home to this on my birthday, my favorite cupcakes made by my wonderful mom and
our back door heart attacked by a few of my cute nieces and nephews.

thanks every one for wishing me a happy birthday.
