About three days ago Jordan noticed that Remi had a huge bubble of infection in his knee where the incision was, so I took him to the vet to see if it needed to be drained. The vet said to just heat pack it until monday then she will drain it at his visit. The next day I noticed that there was alot more infection going on in his leg, and i started to worry about him even more. Last night around 5:30 Remingtons incision split all the way open. Of corse the vet is closed but luckily someone answered the phone, they told me to bring him over. so i did and luckily the surgery part of his knee is fine. Remi had to stay the night because they couldn't put him asleep because he just ate. so they put some saline inthe wound and wrapped him up and started him an another antibiotic. this morning they put him out and sewed him up again, this time leaving the wrapp on for a few days. he has been crying all night. I think he missed jordan more than his leg hurts. Jordan has been at boulder mountian since thursday and remi was so sad that he couldn't go with jord. poor remington.....
